Here we are all dressed up for Chris' grad banquet which doesn't make sense that it's two months before he actually graduates but so is life. His bum was good enough to sit on for the good 4 hours that we were there so that was good.
It was a long night of speeches and not enough food. We were the absolute last table to get our food and they basically ran out of food for us so there was slim pickings and by the time we got to dessert there were only a few options. It wasn't all that bad though, we got to see some people who for Chris, he hadn't seen in three weeks or so. The lieutenant-governor of saskatchewan was the keynote speaker and she started off good but then went on a rampage about how proud we should be to live in Canada and Saskatchewan but really had no mention of becoming teachers and how important that was. So she went on for a really long time about something not really related to why she was there. Yeah so that was our friday night. Yesterday we went and returned a bunch of clothes my mom sent that didn't fit and we got chris some new running shoes and a water bottle in exchange for some of it. Kevin and Alysha came over for a funfilled night of ticket to ride and a movie called "facing the giants" which is this football movie that some church in the states made, it was pretty predictable but it we had a fun time watching it. Today will be a lazy day I reckon. We're actually going to go to church for the first time in 3 weeks so that'll be good. That's about it from this end. Chris' bum seems to be healing well, he'll go to the doctor in just over a week to make sure everything is going right so hopefully it is. Other than that, it's getting busy around these parts with school reports and assignments, let's just say I have two major ones to get done in the next couple weeks that I haven't started. Let the fun times begin...

Did everyone HAVE to wear black?
And I like how you said rampage. Hahaha, the images in my head....
Were they clothes for old ladies?
Anyhoo, glad to hear the bum is going well too. :)
Fancy Schmancy that's for sure. Lookin' good kids, lookin' good. Food is usually the best part of those kinda things so that stinks for sure!! But, hey, CONGRATS CHRIS!! Way to graduate!! That's so sweet that you are fini now. Good luck with your assignments and such vicks--i feel your pain.
haha kath, that's hilarious. i was thinking too as i looked at the pics "are they sure it's graduation and not a funeral"
anyway, looking good guys. way to bring sexy back.
sorry, that was lame.
Hey Vicky & Chris!!
Just realized that i haven't commented in FOREVER! Sorry about that...didn't mean to snub you :)
You both look GREAT in those "fancy schmancy" pictures! Congrats in advance Chris, on your up and coming Grad :)
And good luck with the next weeks of assn's & studying!
to be clear, were the clothes you had to return the ones your ma sells? I can see they might not fit, although aren't moomoo's usually one size fits all? (your ma sells old lady clothes right?, didn't Paulo help her?)
Kay to clear things up here because people are a little confused I think. No we were not required to wear black it just so happens that that's what we wore and if you notice his dad is not wearing black so I don't know what you're talking about that we're ALL wearing black. Weirdo's. And Kath, no my mom did not send me old folks clothing, she sent me normal clothes, I just didn't like them or they didn't fit. She's not doing that clothing thing anymore because it was way too much work, now she does homecare where she goes and helps old people who still live by themselves. So there, now the stories are clear.
Darn...for a minute there I was going to ask if your Mom could send ME a moomoo..
ooohhh, Good. No more questions from me.
