I had a beard once...

Hey ya'll. Figured I'd give you a little update on life for the Falks. Just to let you all know, my bum is fine, thanks for worrying. Sheesh, that was a great time. Well school is super busy as we wind down. Only two more weeks of class and then exams and then I graduate. It's crazy to think I'll be done. I've only ever been in school basically all my life. I guess I still will be once I get a teaching job. I've applied at a number of places and actually have an interview next week in saskatoon, oh boy. I'm a bit nervous. It's just a preliminary interview though and then if they like me they'll call me back once actual positions open up. I'm still looking for a job in b.c. though too and sent some resume stuff to the Wack and Abbotsford. Guess we'll see what God has in store.
This weekend we had our final league championship weekend for basketball. We were in the final but really stank for the first half and were down by twenty. My guys worked real hard to get back in it though and were up by 2 with about a minute and a half left. But we had a bit of foul trouble and our two starting guards fouled out and we just couldn't quite finish. It was a great experience though and I'm going to miss those guys.

All the cousins on the team.

About the only other amazing thing that has happened lately is I shaved. I had a pretty gnarly beard going on and Vick's had me try some different styles with it. Check these out. I know, pretty sexy.

The Bushman

The Count of Monte Cristo

Earl

Adolf

Squeaky Clean

There you go. I did all that just before our game which is probably why we lost. Sorry guys. Talk to you all later, Vick's says hi.

Fresh Look

Well I thought it was time to switch things up and it took a lot longer than I thought but I like the way it turned out. There's not much to talk about, Chris is out at a basketball tournament until tonight, they won their first two games and will probably win the final. I've been spending this weekend getting my major reports started and I just spent the last couple hours working on this template so I should probably get to work as soon as possible. Our lady upstairs has some people over snow blowing, tis the season for snow removal. The warmth in the air feels good, hopefully it will only continue. Hopefully our basement suite won't flood like is supposedly did last year. I don't think it will because she installed a pump system after that happened. Yeah, other than that nothing much to say. Stuff is really busy at school and will be until the last day of school. Then I get a good 10 day break or so before my first exam starts so that'll be nice, except I'll have to finish a take home exam in that time. Oh well, soon it will be done and I'll be graduating! Then comes the plans for the future...who knows what that will hold. Anyways, that's all I have to say, I know it was boring but I thought I'd say a little somethin' somethin'. Okay, I hope you all enjoy the new look, back to the books I go...

Dressed up for speeches

Here we are all dressed up for Chris' grad banquet which doesn't make sense that it's two months before he actually graduates but so is life. His bum was good enough to sit on for the good 4 hours that we were there so that was good.

Fancy Schmancy

It was a long night of speeches and not enough food. We were the absolute last table to get our food and they basically ran out of food for us so there was slim pickings and by the time we got to dessert there were only a few options. It wasn't all that bad though, we got to see some people who for Chris, he hadn't seen in three weeks or so. The lieutenant-governor of saskatchewan was the keynote speaker and she started off good but then went on a rampage about how proud we should be to live in Canada and Saskatchewan but really had no mention of becoming teachers and how important that was. So she went on for a really long time about something not really related to why she was there. Yeah so that was our friday night. Yesterday we went and returned a bunch of clothes my mom sent that didn't fit and we got chris some new running shoes and a water bottle in exchange for some of it. Kevin and Alysha came over for a funfilled night of ticket to ride and a movie called "facing the giants" which is this football movie that some church in the states made, it was pretty predictable but it we had a fun time watching it. Today will be a lazy day I reckon. We're actually going to go to church for the first time in 3 weeks so that'll be good. That's about it from this end. Chris' bum seems to be healing well, he'll go to the doctor in just over a week to make sure everything is going right so hopefully it is. Other than that, it's getting busy around these parts with school reports and assignments, let's just say I have two major ones to get done in the next couple weeks that I haven't started. Let the fun times begin...
